Pug Instruction – The Reason Why You Should Begin Coaching Your Pug Right From Day One
You go to the pet store and you fall madly in love with that big wrinkly face and the very next thing you know, you are the proud owner of a new Pug puppy dog. Something that you have to know, especially in those early days, is that the moment you bring that puppy home, you are training them in the right way to act in the future. With pug training, it is critical to be disciplined from the very start of your days as a Pug owner.
When you look at how much a child learns in the initial few years of their life, it far outweighs the quantity of things they learn in the latter years. A pug young dog is the same way, the first few months of their life are similar to the initial few years of a child’s life and anything they learn now is going to be inserted in their mind as something that they are permitted to do.
If your Pug puppy jumps up on the coach, will you discipline him and tell him to get down or are you going to pet his lovable small head and let him know how lovable he is. Now consider what happens when he is a full grown dog and he does that, you are potentially going to be upset and scream at him. Well don’t scream at the dog, go find a mirror and yell at yourself because you’re the one that promoted that behavior when he was a puppy dog.
We often find humor in the things that both youngsters and dogs do when they’re puppies and babies and then we get upset when they are doing similar things 1 or 2 years later. It isn’t their fault, you permitted this behavior and now you’re going to fix it. Knowing when to fix behavior is an important part of pug training
When your Pug puppy grabs your shoes and starts chewing on them, ask yourself one little question, am I going to find that funny in seven years when he is still doing it? If you’re like most of the people, the answer to that query is going to be a sound NO so address it now and you won’t have to stress about it in the future because the dog will know it is not permissible.
It is a tiny tough to train your Pug puppy from day one, but you’ve got to resist the pitfalls of falling for that captivating face. They’re animals and they have to be trained. The will only do what you permit them to do or get away with so make sure you get the correct behavior instilled from the first day and you will have a great pet!
